At UTICamp-2019 Victoria Moroz, Anna Ivanchenko, Anna Kolomiytseva and Alexandra Komarova held a round-table discussion on harassment in the world of interpreters. While many female interpreters have had to face inappropriate behavior, this topic is not usually discussed in public.

During the meeting we discussed real-life cases with the participants and tried to get to the bottom of the reasons and risk factors that most often lead to undesirable situations.

We also compiled a set of recommendations to help recognize inappropriate behavior and avoid its consequences.
